How to make 6 daffodils from 30 inches (762mm) of 1 inch (25mm)copper pipe. The video also shows how to make a quick and easy wooden vase to hold them in. It starts with the cutting of the copper pipe then folding out and marking the flower shape. If you would like a template for the flower send me an email. This was my first attempt at brazing so be kind! It is still stuck together so it must have worked! I then used a tap and die set to create the threads in the ¼ inch chrome bar and copper to fix them together. The vase is made from some rough 9x1 and just glued and pinned together. I charred the vase as I like the effect it makes. It’s finished with a clear varnish. I had planned to polish the copper but decided not to as I liked the look of it after just a quick clean.
It takes about 30 inches or approx 770mm of 1inch 25mm pipe to make 6 of them. The ¼ inch chrome came off an old clothes horse I think. It had been in the shed for years! I used a little more of it in this video I made: https://youtu.be/wxZrH5xBJU8
Always be careful using tools and machinery !!!
