Last week, I tackled the Nürburgring's GP circuit, with its lovely motorsport-friendly runoff areas and wide, smooth Tarmac. This time, things are getting much more real...
Believe it or not, I've never actually driven the infamous 20km Nordschleife before, so decided to choose wisely with both car and instructor when giving it my inaugural lap.
The car? RacingLine Performance's 520bhp Mk8 VW Golf R – a potent-but-planted 4WD hot hatch that promised to help keep me on the smooth stuff wherever possible. The instructor? Well, it had to be @mgcharoudin really, didn't it?!
