With muzzleloader hunting seasons fast approaching, we're spending some time on the range preparing for muzzleloader season with my .50 caliber flintlock rifle. We'll try to answer the question, how accurate is a flintlock rifle? I've got targets set up at 100, 150, and 200 yards and we'll see what kind of groups I can shoot at those distances. Today, I'm shooting 100 grains of FFg black powder and a 385 gr Great Plains conical bullet. Towards the end of the video I load up some patched round balls to see if I can match the accuracy of the conical bullets. I'll also go over some muzzleloader basics.
Don't forget to subscribe to the channel. We're uploading a new video each week that features one of the following topics: archery, bow hunting, bow building, survival skills, bushcraft, self reliance, primitive skills, primitive bows, hunting, camping, fishing, and a lot more!
