How Borewell Machine DTH (Down The Hole Drilling) Rigs Works - 3D Animation

today's modern borewell dth( down the hole) drilling rig machines can drill up to 2500 meters and their compressor pressure is up to 4500 psi.
the borewell drill machines dig the borewell with high pressure and hence they have two separate mechanisms.
a rotary screw-type compressor is used in the dth machine which operates at extremely high pressure. this high pressure is sent to the drilling rig from where the borewell is drilled.
in the drilling machine, a long string is made from a strong steel pipe in which high pressure is sent and a hammer is placed in front of the string which does the cutting of the stone.
this hammer operates at a very high speed. it has tungsten carbide rods on its front side which come in direct contact with the stone and break the stone into very fine pieces.
high air pressure is used to take out the pieces of loose stone. when this pressure comes up through the borewell, the water brings along with it the pieces of loose stone.
in this video, the workings of the borewell machine have been explained in detail in which the working principle of dth machine has been explained with the help of 3d animation.
