This is my official entry to the Westworld Scoring Competition organized by HBO's Westworld team, Spitfire Audio, Bad Robot Productions, Kilter Films and Warner Bros. Television.
Music is fully composed, produced, recorded and mixed by myself.
All guitar parts are live recordings of me playing my Fender Stratocaster.
Featured scene is part of an episode from the season 3 of the Westworld's television series, produced by HBO.
For this project, I initially worked with melodic phrases and themes from the Westworld OST, but learnt that we weren't allowed to do this only 2 days before the ending of the competition.
I had to rewrite all of the intro (first 50 seconds) and outro (last 30 seconds) in the last 2 days, in order to be able to submit a valid entry for this competition.
I also posted my original work here on Youtube (including parts from Westworld's OST) for my audience to see.
You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/rfJe7F5IYh8
I'm so grateful for the opportunity of attending this amazing competition and I hope you'll enjoy my work.
For this project, I used the sound libraries, music production softwares and hardware from following companies:
- Spitfire Audio
- EastWest sounds
- Heavyocity
- Orchestral Tools
- Steinberg
- JBL
- Fender
- Alesis
- Focusrite
