Step One: Reduce Your Workplace Stress
Working long hours, taking on a heavy workload, and conflicts with co-workers can lead to a boatload of stress. Increased stress can create all kinds of issues like difficulties sleeping, lack of concentration and depression. Consider keeping your stress to a minimum to maximize your work potential.

Step Two: Take Breaks
Taking regularly scheduled breaks will help you avoid injury by keeping you fresh and alert. If you feel yourself beginning to get burnt out…take 10 minutes, stretch, and step away from your task so you can come back rejuvenated and ready to work.

Step Three: Pay Attention to Your Surroundings
All too often, people are injured on the job by not paying attention to what is going on around them. Hazardous situations are around every corner, so it’s important to know your surroundings to you can assess the risks and avoid injury.

Under federal law, your EMPLOYER must also take steps to keep you safe by providing a working environment free of known health and safety hazards.
