n this episode, special guest Seth Hanson explores the life and battlefield genius of Georgy Zhukov—the most successful commander of the Soviet Union during World War II. Rising from humble beginnings as a peasant’s son, Zhukov became the strategist behind some of the most decisive victories against Nazi Germany.

From the desperate defense of Moscow in 1941 to the crushing counteroffensives at the Battle of Stalingrad, Zhukov repeatedly saved the Soviet Union from collapse. He later directed the massive Soviet offensives that smashed through Eastern Europe and ultimately captured Berlin in 1945.
